Once a predator has tracked the bait, the swim pattern created by the forward-facing fin can imitate a fleeing bait fish and baitfish that have been exhausted and singled out from their panicked main school, the ideal meal for opportunistic predators.
Varied retrieves can be imparted depending on how fish are behaving. A fast retrieve elicits a tight rolling pattern to imitate fleeing prey, even faster retrieves will create a rapid zig-zag, triggering strikes as the bait turns. Slower retrieve speeds impart an S-shape slalom to imitate a fatigued or dying baitfish. Mixing both types of retrieves on the cast gives anglers opportunities to figure out what the fish want.

At 100mm long and a rigged weight of 32 grams, the FASHAD 100s has the profile and weight for both technical casts into tight structure as well as distance casts to fish swaths of open water.
