The Johnny Jigs® Torpedo All Glow Slow Pitch Jig is built for anglers who need to get down fast and stay effective in deep water. Finished in an intense all-UV glow body with a pink and chartreuse perimeter, this color profile creates a bright, highly visible target that stands out in low-light conditions and at extreme depths.
Built on the proven Torpedo mold, this jig is designed for a fast drop speed that makes it possible to fish efficiently in challenging current and drift conditions. Its balance-weighted design allows the jig to fall horizontally and produce a mild to moderate action under little to no line tension.
While the Torpedo excels when getting down quickly is the priority, it remains highly productive in mild current conditions as well. The all glow finish makes this version especially effective for deep-water grouper, snapper, tilefish, and tuna, where extra visibility can make all the difference.
The Torpedo has also become widely adopted for yellowfin and bluefin tuna jigging, while continuing to produce on species like red, snowy, and scamp grouper, red, mutton, blackfin, and queen snapper, wahoo, and blueline and golden tilefish.
