A fast 6.5:1 gear ratio retrieves an impressive 44 inches of line per crank, making the Elite 15H an excellent choice when working jigs through deep water, rapidly recovering line, or staying connected to fast-moving pelagic fish.
With up to 33 lb of maximum drag, the Elite 15H delivers the stopping power needed for hard-fighting tuna, grouper, snapper, amberjack, and other powerful offshore species while maintaining the compact profile preferred by jigging anglers.
At the heart of the reel is a precision-machined, one-piece tempered aluminum frame paired with heat-treated stainless steel gears for strength and rigidity under heavy loads. A carbon drag system provides smooth performance even when wet, while the reel's powerful dual-drag design delivers consistent pressure throughout the fight.
The extended 113 mm handle arm provides added leverage, while our comfortable rubber T-bar handle, also used on the Johnny Jigs® Pro Jigger PJM25, gives anglers a secure grip during long days of jigging and demanding battles.
With 30 lb braid capacity of approximately 440 yards, the Elite 15H offers an excellent combination of line capacity, retrieve speed, drag capability, and compact handling for offshore jigging applications.
