Versatile Inshore & Offshore Casting Performance

Click here for more info from Temple Reef on the Stealth STK

The Temple Reef Stealth STK is one of the most versatile casting rod series in the Temple Reef lineup. Designed for spinning reels and artificial lures, the STK is an excellent choice for anglers casting stickbaits, poppers and other artificial lures for tarpon, snook, striped bass, California yellowtail, blackfin tuna, mahi and other medium-sized pelagic gamefish.

With four models ranging from the STK72M through STK78HH, anglers can choose the rod that best matches their target species, lure weight and fishing conditions. The lighter models provide excellent casting performance for inshore and lighter offshore applications, while the heavier models offer additional power for larger tarpon, California yellowtail and stronger offshore pelagics.

The STK's medium action loads smoothly when casting and remains forgiving during the fight, making it an excellent choice for anglers who want a powerful rod without sacrificing casting performance or versatility.

Which Temple Reef Stealth STK Should I Choose?

STK72M
7'2" | Lures to ~60 g | Max Drag: 6 kg @ 45°
A light, responsive casting rod for smaller artificial lures and lighter applications. A great option for snook, striped bass and smaller inshore or nearshore gamefish.

STK74MH
7'4" | Lures to ~80 g | Max Drag: 7 kg @ 45°
An extremely versatile casting model for snook, tarpon, striped bass, blackfin tuna, mahi and other medium-sized gamefish. A strong choice when you want additional power while maintaining a lightweight casting setup.

STK76H
7'6" | PE4–5 | Lures to ~100 g | Max Drag: 8 kg @ 45°
A powerful saltwater casting rod for tarpon, California yellowtail, blackfin tuna, mahi and other hard-fighting pelagics. Well suited for medium-size stickbaits and poppers where additional line and drag capability are needed. The 76H's ~100 g lure rating and PE4–5 specification are confirmed by Temple Reef.

STK78HH
7'8" | PE6–7 | Lures to ~130 g | Max Drag: 10 kg @ 45°
The most powerful model in the STK series. Best suited for larger tarpon, California yellowtail and heavier offshore casting applications using larger stickbaits and poppers when more fighting power is desired. Temple Reef lists it at approximately 130 g lure weight, PE6–7 and 10 kg maximum drag at 45°.
