Description
Ocean’s Legacy Sling Shot surface irons are designed with a stainless steel wire-thru design moulded in zinc alloy. Zinc alloy allows for longer shimmering flutter action on the fall compared to other materials. All Sling Shot surface irons have been chrome anodized with UV resin paints along with Japanese foils to provide extra shine. The SlingShot surface irons carry 3 glow ridges on the belly to entice fish and increase hit rates.
Ocean Legacy Sling Shot surface irons can be used for land-based or boat casting. They have proven to be extremely effective in the Australian fishery for spanish/king mackeral, tuna, yellowtail kings, bluefish/tailor, herring, trevally and many other species.

Excellent for Pelagic and Rockfish in species in the 100-150 ft depth.
I used this as a casting lure from shore. Great distance and swimming action but the hook and split ring for the 17g size needs to be replaced. I also have some of the larger models and they also really cast far. I'd give a 5 star if it wasn't for the hook on this small size lure.
What a fun top water lure to throw. Built like a tank. Great design, epoxy painted colors, etc. Had a little difficulty finding the right speed of retrieve, if there is one... I think it might be more effective at the fall rather than surface skimming compared to say a Tady surface iron. Palagics would likely crush these lures.

Great quality caught a huge bonita on it 2 time using it definitely recommend
This jig will catch all Socal Rockfish and Yellowtail in the 100-200 foot depth.
