We teamed up with Accurate and they exceeded our expectations with this Gun Metal Grey / Blood Red Boss Valiant 500N-SPJ Johnny Jigs Edition featuring our JJ logo in the center of the face.

Accurate listened to the input from seasoned experts in the field, and have transformed their existing Valiant series into the ultimate tool for the avid slow pitch angler. These new Valiants feature an extended handle arm for more torque on hard fighting bottom fish like grouper, as well as a newly designed power handle for a secure grip and to reduce hand fatigue. Accurate has further refined these reels by removing the clicker, eliminating the possibility of line-fouling and water intrusion through the side plate, as well as shaving unnecessary weight.

• Length 6'6": One Piece Rod Blank offered in 4 power levels with max ratings.

• 4 Power Levels: The sweet spot of each choice is approximate to the power level ie. Power 3 - works a 300g beautifully and unloads nicely up to 400g. You can fish each rod as light or as heavy as you would like. The lighter the jig weight the faster the action becomes and the heavier the jig weight the slower the load and unload action becomes. *Depth of water plays a big role in the performance of the rod on the selected jig weight.
