These JohnnyJigs Casting Jigs are a lure that can be used in a variety of fishing conditions. Great for any saltwater fishing application over reefs and in any depths when cast, allowed to sink, and retrieved. We have had great success in many conditions in landing Kingfish, Wahoo, Tuna, Bonito, Grouper and even Sailfish. Similar to a diamond jig and like a casting spoon, these casting jigs cast far and have great action. Sometimes the speed and aggression with which a casting jig can be worked higher or in the middle of the water column is more effective when more subtle techniques are failing to produce.
