Designed to keep your rod closer to the water for optimal line angle and control, this setup delivers exceptional stability and lifting power during long fights in heavy current.
The Witch Doctor top features a multi-material blank—a high-modulus carbon over-wrap that transitions through intermediate layers to a soft fiberglass tip (42→24→fiberglass). This construction provides the perfect blend of sensitivity and backbone, allowing anglers to detect subtle bites and exert consistent pressure when hauling up big fish from the depths.
The ALPS Low Angle Bent Butt is CNC-machined from marine-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and hard anodized for maximum corrosion resistance. Its innovative No-Spin Pinning System locks the gimbal and hood in precise alignment, eliminating unwanted rotation and ensuring rock-solid reel placement. The 30° angle keeps your rod low and steady in a 0° holder—ideal for pairing with electric reels like the Daiwa Seaborg, Tanacom, or Shimano Beastmaster.
