The Dragon Scale Spinning Rod is the newest evolution in the Johnny Jigs premier rod lineup. We took the latest blank technology offered by Rainshadow and engineered a series that will do just about anything you want it to! This rod is designed to excel in both high-speed vertical jigging as well as slow pitch jigging techniques. Have it on the ready to cast plugs, poppers, and pitch baits or have it set up for the troll. There is no wrong way to wield the Dragon Scale!
At its core is a Rainshadow RX6 Graphite blank, reinforced with a signature Dragon Scale cross-wrap for added strength and durability. Outfitted with ALPS® anodized stainless guides and a size 20 Rapid palming reel seat, this rod offers the smooth line flow, leverage, and ergonomic comfort needed to battle deep water giants. The 6’6” length enhances line control, casting accuracy, and jig action.
