The Daiwa SALTIGA® Lever Drag is built from the ground up for battle. Each reel features a one-piece machined aluminum frame and side plate that keeps bearings and gears perfectly aligned, reducing flex and eliminating binding even under extreme pressure.
Oversized, hardened stainless steel main and pinion gears mesh with near-silent precision for incredible torque and smooth cranking power. Large spool bearings minimize side load so you can focus on the fight, not the reel.
Unrivaled Drag & Control
Daiwa’s acclaimed Advanced Tournament Drag System (ATD) delivers consistent pressure and heat dissipation from hookset to landing. The machined aluminum spool resists warping under high drag and heavy line tension, while the solid aluminum rod clamp keeps your reel locked in place on the rail.
Comfort & Performance in Every Size
Smaller single-speed and high-speed tournament models feature soft-touch rubber handles for fast, comfortable retrieves. Larger 2-speed sizes (50, 55, and 60) are equipped with T-style offset aluminum power handles for superior leverage and control when fighting big game.
With all CRBB (Corrosion-Resistant Ball Bearings) throughout, the SALTIGA LD is made to outlast the harshest saltwater environments and keep performing season after season.
