The Witch Doctor™ Otto Auto Jigging top is a purpose-built rod section engineered for use with electric reels in auto-jig mode. Developed after extensive testing with Alps™, this top pairs exclusively with the Alps™ #2 Fixed Bent Butt to create a tuned, efficient, and highly effective hands-free jigging system.
Constructed on a solid carbon blank, Otto balances strength, sensitivity, and rebound speed. It loads under jigging pressure and unloads smoothly on each programmed retrieve burst—translating motor cycles into natural, rhythmic lure action. Fish slow pitch, vertical/high-speed, ball, or squid-style artificials with consistent, repeatable motion.
Pair Otto with electric reels such as the Daiwa Seaborg, Tanacom, or Shimano Beastmaster to bring jigs to life while you work another rod or run multiple auto-jig setups at once. 12 Alps™ spiral-wrapped guides plus tip maintain clean line flow and reduce torque under heavy load.
