1. Warranty Coverage

Johnny Jigs, LLC warrants the Elite 15H Lever Drag Jigging Reel against defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational use for one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase.

This limited warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser and is non-transferable. Please retain your receipt or other proof of purchase.

If Johnny Jigs confirms a covered defect, we will, at our option, repair the reel or replace it with the same or a comparable model. Parts and labor for covered repairs, or the covered replacement itself, will be provided at no charge. Shipping and related costs are addressed below.

2. Exclusions

This limited warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Cosmetic damage from use, including scratches, dings, and fading.

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, or neglect.

  • Damage or corrosion caused by improper cleaning, inadequate maintenance, or failure to follow the product’s care instructions, including rinsing after saltwater use.

  • Damage caused by improper repairs, modifications, or disassembly.

  • Damage resulting from commercial, charter, or rental use.

  • Routine cleaning, lubrication, maintenance, or servicing.

This warranty applies only to recreational use.

Using an independent repair service or third-party replacement parts does not, by itself, void this warranty. However, damage or defects caused by those services or parts are not covered.

3. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

Submit your claim through the Johnny Jigs Warranty & Returns Portal.

Follow the portal instructions and provide the requested information, which may include:

  • Your receipt or other proof of purchase.

  • A description of the issue.

  • Photos or video showing the problem.

Our team will review your submission and provide next steps. An inspection may be required to determine whether the issue is covered.

4. Shipping and Service Costs

Customers may be responsible for shipping, handling, and insurance costs associated with sending the reel for evaluation and returning the repaired or replacement reel, except where applicable law requires otherwise. We will explain any customer-paid shipping arrangements before you send your reel.

Do not ship your reel until you receive authorization and shipping instructions. Use the address provided with your claim, which may differ from the Johnny Jigs business address.

Package your reel securely and follow the instructions provided. Johnny Jigs is not responsible for loss or damage caused by inadequate packaging or failure to follow those instructions, to the extent permitted by law.

If the issue is not covered, we will explain available service options and any proposed charges before proceeding with paid repairs.

5. Implied Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Johnny Jigs, LLC is not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from use of the product or breach of this warranty.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

7. Your Legal Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

This warranty is governed by Florida law to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this warranty limits any consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
