The Witch Doctor™ Otto Jigging Combo pairs our innovative Otto Jigging Rod Top with the precision-engineered ALPS Low Angle Bent Butt (25°)—creating the ultimate electric reel auto-jigging setup. Designed through years of testing and refinement, this combo takes the effort out of deep-water jigging while keeping the performance and excitement you expect from Witch Doctor™ rods.
The Otto top section features a solid carbon blank built to load and unload in perfect rhythm with your reel’s programmed jigging cycle. Each retrieve burst is translated into natural, lifelike lure action—producing consistent motion that triggers strikes when other presentations fail. Otto performs exceptionally with slow pitch, high-speed vertical, ball, and squid-style jigs.
Paired with the ALPS Low Angle Bent Butt (25°), CNC-machined from marine-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and hard anodized for lasting protection, this combo delivers unbeatable strength and control. The 25° low-angle design keeps your rod close to the waterline, reducing strain while optimizing the line angle for deep drops and auto-jigging with electric reels such as the Daiwa Seaborg, Tanacom, and Shimano Beastmaster.
Outfitted with 12 Alps™ spiral-wrapped guides plus tip, this rod ensures perfect line flow and reduced torque under load—whether you’re fishing solo or running multiple auto-jigging rods simultaneously.
